Check out the best moments of this fun and vibrant family entertainment production that brought together the cast and crew of almost 90!
For the second year in a row, Creativiva has produced the family entertainment program for the celebration of Canada Day at Queen’s Park. Here is the recap of the best moments from that exciting day!
FAME THE MUSICAL
The highlight of the day was the production of the legendary Fame The Musical that took place on the Main Stage. Produced by Creativiva, this breathtaking two-act spectacle made the audience laugh, cry, gasp and cheer. Recognized internationally as the ultimate feel-good musical, Fame was presented to the park visitors as a free admission show, which is unique for such kind of family entertainment.
Arguably, the most intricate costumes out of 26 roaming characters were worn by Creativiva’s Marionetta Ladies. They are not only the show themselves – they are also bringing the show with the miniature marionette theatres in their dresses hand-built in Europe! Fascination that Marionettas bring on both kids’ and adults’ faces is remarkable – this a new level of family entertainment!
The Brick People are always a family entertainment hit. Highly-interactive, they are always surrounded by kids and highly sought-after for the photo ops.
RAIN OR SHINE? SHINE!
Rain didn’t stop our Mirror People from shining bright! Mirror People are the A-stars of the Creativiva selection of roaming characters for family entertainment. The special mirror material they are made of comes from Germany; the costume consists of almost 1,000 shiny mirror pieces each!
Other family entertainment by Creativiva included a spectacular family musical “Alice in Wonderland”, live bands, and exciting workshops inspired by the Broadway world.
